FARMINGDALE, NY (05-06-14): EtQ is pleased to announce Chat, one of the additions made to EtQ’s latest release, Reliance 11.
The Reliance Chat feature enhances collaboration between users of the Reliance platform, allowing for instant communication. Each user within the system can initiate a chat with any of the other users who are currently online. An icon next to each person’s name provides visibility into who is logged into the system. Users can communicate as well as exchange document links and external URLs.
This new capability allows for quicker answers to internal questions.
“The addition of chat capabilities has enabled greater collaboration among Reliance users,” stated Morgan Palmer, chief technology officer of EtQ. “Users can now more easily communicate with coworkers who are online, enabling a virtual, instant method of communication. No need to send out an email and wait for a response. You can easily see who’s online and available to chat at any given moment.”
