May 1, 2019

BOSTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–ETQ, the leading provider of quality management solutions, today announced that Chief Technology Officer Morgan Palmer will present at the 2019 ASQ World Conference on Quality and Improvement, in Fort Worth, Texas on May 20-22. Palmer will co-present with Sara Hanks, senior manager of data and analytics at GE Transportation (a Wabtec company) in a session, “Supply Chain Quality in the Real World: Business Impacts and Challenges.” They will discuss the role of automated quality management in improving product excellence, production efficiency and customer satisfaction in a world where supply chains have become increasingly complex. ETQ Senior Director of Solution Architects Glen Fraser will also be on-site to participate in an on-stage quality management system (QMS) solution demonstration. Fraser will showcase how ETQ’s Reliance solution drives quality and value for more than 550 leading brands around the world, including Cooper Tire and NVIDIA.

Now in its 72nd year, the World Conference on Quality and Improvement (previously known as the Annual Technical Conference) is ASQ’s flagship event, offering industry sessions, certification classes and networking opportunities for businesses to learn more about the newest products and services in quality. The conference brings together more than 2,500 attendees from a wide array of industries and more than 45 countries from around the world.

“This ASQ conference is something we look forward to every year,” said Palmer. “It provides a great opportunity for us to connect with our customers, quality stakeholders, companies looking to adopt a QMS solution and peers to discuss the greatest challenges and opportunities facing the quality management industry today. Ensuring supply chain quality is a key focus for our customers, so we look forward to presenting alongside GE Transportation about the ways in which a sophisticated approach to quality management can drive operational improvements. We hope to demonstrate this with real-world examples that showcase the benefits of using an advanced QMS solution.”

Palmer’s presentation, “Supply Chain Quality in the Real World: Business Impacts and Challenges,” will take place on Monday, May 20 at 3:00-4:00 p.m. CDT in Room 100 (Session M39). Together with Hanks, Palmer will offer insights and real-world examples of how to maximize quality control and efficiency in the supply chain. Session topics will include:

  • The cost of supplier quality issues
  • How to improve the timeliness of collaboration with suppliers
  • The impact on new product introduction (NPI)
  • Tips for reducing the cost of supplier audits
  • Where supply chain quality fits into the overall “quality journey”

Fraser’s live product demonstration will take place on Monday, May 20 at 10:00-10:30 a.m. CDT in Room 121 C. His demonstration will showcase how ETQ’s Reliance platform simplifies the process of building optimal, comprehensive and integrated quality programs that deliver a competitive advantage and ensure a strong brand reputation.
