It’s been quite awhile since we’ve been able to gather in person with our customers and partners at our annual user conference. And this year, ETQ’s Quality Vision event, part of HxGN LIVE, took place in Las Vegas, June 12-15. This year’s gathering focused on data-driven manufacturing and connected quality, featured keynote address from our CEO, Vick Vaishnavi, technology vision and product roadmap presentations from CTO John Taylor and CPO Jamie Fernandes, as well as a host of excellent customer panel discussions and presentations from industry experts.
At the conference, we hosted 175 customers from 100+ accounts, staged 3 keynote addresses, delivered 17 sessions and panels with customers, and recorded a well-received podcast on Women in Manufacturing and Quality that featured ETQ Customer, Jana Samson, Corporate R&D Quality Systems Manager, Mars R&D Digital Capabilities We also held a “Fireside Chat” with Hexagon President, Josh Weiss, and ETQ CEO, Vick Vaishnavi, who discussed Hexagon and ETQ’s work together to create the data-driven manufacturing ecosystems of the future.
Finally, as we do every year, we awarded the ETQ Quality Innovation Award to a customer that demonstrated exceptional creativity, ingenuity and results thanks to the flexibility of ETQ Reliance. The finalists this year included Nutrien, Trane and Varian Medical Systems, with Trane emerging as the 2023 Innovation Award winner.
Thanks to all of or customers, partners and our colleagues at Hexagon for making the week a smashing success. Keep your eye on this space (and elsewhere ) in the near future for video highlights and fresh content created during the conference. We look forward to sharing the insights and experiences we have all gained along our quality journey.
Quality Management that Drives Business Value
Notably, we used HxGN LIVE Global and ETQ Quality Vision 2023 to draw a sharper focus around the ability of our QMS/EHS solutions to deliver measurable business value far beyond product quality and compliance. The five key business value drivers around which we are orienting our marketing, sales, and support outreach include:
- Supplier Quality – Reduce negative business impact due to supplier quality, product, and delivery failures.
- Optimize at Scale – Optimize processes efficiently and at scale to meet changing regulatory, compliance, customer, and market requirements.
- Cost of Quality – Reduce cost of poor quality to minimize business disruption, brand risk, and revenue impact.
- Decision Velocity – Ensure visibility and decision velocity by connecting all aspects of the quality management program – people, process, and technology – to deliver prescriptive and predictive information to reduce cost, improve margin, and mitigate risk.
- Time to Market – Accelerate time to market by optimizing the product life cycle.
LNS Research Recaps HxGN Live Global
And our friends at LNS Research were in attendance and had this to say about the proceedings
“In a world of industry events leading with and centered around technology trends, Hexagon AB is usually a refreshing exception that leads with business impact. This year’s HxGN Live Global in Las Vegas was no different.”
Read the entire LinkedIn post from LNS Research’s Vivek Murugesan where he delivers a strongly positive review of HXGN LIVE Global’s quality and depth and notes several of the newsworthy updates and keynote speeches, including ETQ CEO Vick Vaishnavi’s plenary on the power of “The Three As: Automation, Analytics, and AI.”
