EtQ Announces Innovation Excellence Award Winners

FARMINGDALE, NY (09-12-08): EtQ is pleased to announce the winners of EtQ's 2008 EtQ Innovation Excellence Award.

As part of EtQ's continuing commitment to fostering innovation within their customer base, EtQ is celebrating customer ingenuity with a new award program. The EtQ Innovation Excellence Award Program recognizes those customers who have innovatively implemented EtQ software to address a key business challenge that has significantly impacted their business. In its inaugural year, the award had a tremendous reception, with many customers presenting unique and innovative solutions to EtQ. In the end, EtQ selected the top three winners, who will present their innovative application at the 2008 EtQ User Conference being held on October 13-15, 2008.

The top two winners and their innovations are:
Rheem Manufacturing - Supplier Rating Application: Rheem was able to develop an innovative supplier rating application which has enabled them to streamline supplier management within their organization. The supplier information application was developed as a means to standardize and centralize supplier related information for their common supply base. Rheem's application uses innovative concepts and custom formulas to ensure that they are using the best suppliers for their business, and provide visibility into supplier metrics.

FUJIFILM Manufacturing U.S.A., Inc. - Request for Change Application: FUJIFILM's innovative Request for Change application was designed to streamline the process of IT change management within their organization. As a "pre-cursor" to their Change Management module, FujiFilm's application allows for prioritization and review of work/change requests coming to their IT Group. As a result, this application is able to capture all of the 'pre-work' that goes on before Change Management occurs - cost reductions/avoidances, productivity savings, and other qualitative benefits of the change. Using this application, FUJIFILM is able to become more LEAN and create a true culture of change within their organization.
