The Federal Aviation Administration Selects EtQ for their Quality Management System
FARMINGDALE, NY (11-26-05): EtQ has announced that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has selected EtQ's Quality Management System to help achieve compliance for its quality and compliance initiatives.
After an extensive review, the FAA chose EtQ's Web-browser-based software system for its ability to manage and track all quality-related issues within its organization. As a result, the FAA's Logistics and Flight Standards groups have moved from a paper-based, manual system to a completely automated, Web-based system. This move allows for stricter compliance to all company initiatives and overall improved productivity.
The aviation industry is becoming more and more complex. With more carriers, outsourced maintenance and more types of airplanes from more manufacturers, the need for the FAA to have an automated system to manage quality and compliance has become increasingly important. The FAA had a simple goal- make it understandable, and make it powerful. EtQ's integrated system allowed them to build a quality system that isn't just a series of individual processes, but a fully integrated system that allows the FAA to tie processes together, standardize processes across multiple facilities and make for increased availability of information across the organization.
EtQ's Quality Management System is a fully configurable, Web-based system that allows for the management and tracking of all quality and compliance initiatives such as Document Control, Corrective Action, Audits, Complaints Handling, Nonconformance, Training and many more. EtQ's software solutions are designed on the premise that companies have unique needs and are best served by a product that can capture the business process, rules and information to automate its procedures and one that can be easily configured, without programming.
EtQ is pleased to have the FAA join its growing customer base, which has soared to more than 300,000 users and 700 installations worldwide and includes some of the top Fortune 100 companies.
