EtQ's Audits Module Revolutionizes the way Audits are Performed
FARMINGDALE, NY (03-19-04): EtQ, the leader in enterprise quality, compliance and environmental management software, has released the newest version of its Audits & Surveys module, with new features designed to automate and schedule audits, so that your auditing process, and thus your business, is streamlined.
The EtQ Audits & Surveys module is a web-enabled workflow application specifically designed and developed to automate the process of auditing in any given industry. The database records and manages all information related to the audit, from the first setting of an audit type to the final results summaries.
Some new features for the audits module include:
- Continuous Audits: Sometimes you may need to set the audit for automatic scheduling. You can do this by utilizing the "continuous" option in the EtQ Audits & Surveys module. With continuous audits, the application will determine the date of the last audit and the last auditor, and assign audits based on a formula so that audits are randomly assigned to different users at different time intervals. This provides a randomized auditing process within your company, so that all aspects of your business are audited at configurable intervals, ensuring your business processes are valid and up-to-date at all times.
- Enhanced Audit Profiles: Creating an audit profile can be a time-intensive task. With EtQ's flexible workflow technology, each question within an audit has its own workflow and is attached to the proper checklist associated with each question. This allows all questions within the audits database to go through an approval process, ensuring that the questions asked are the "right" questions.
- Enhanced Reports: EtQ's Audits & Surveys module features two types of reports. The first is the audit report, which provides a detailed summary about the type of audit created and its related checklists and scores. Moreover, the audit report gives detailed instructions on the scoring methods used for this type of audit as well as information about the supplier (if applicable). The second type of report is the department report, which shows the number of answers collected for each checklist associated with the audit for all departments involved. The department report can be created for the audits that depend on a "question counting" scoring type.
