AWS Outage Response – Oct. 20, 2025

Shortly after midnight ET on October 20, Amazon Web Services (AWS) experienced a significant outage across its US-EAST-1 Region that affected web services worldwide. ETQ was one of the AWS customers that was impacted by the outage and ETQ Reliance users were unable to access the QMS platform during this time. Amazon has now largely resolved the problem.

ETQ’s cloud operation team has been working with AWS and monitoring the health and operation of our platform since the initial signs of trouble and we are confident that there is no further impact to customers’ ETQ Reliance instances or compromise of their underlying data.

As noted above, the situation is now successfully resolved and ETQ is awaiting the final root cause analysis of the incident from AWS.

We apologize for any inconvenience the AWS outage has caused. We believe the problems are fully resolved, though if you are experiencing slower or degraded performance of your ETQ Reliance instance, please open a support ticket.
